No Escape

My life is full of misery and heart ache,
But my life is not the only one at stake.
My sister is threatening to kill herself,
My parents are going to leave me all by myself.
They say it's all my fault, though I've done nothing wrong,
Hopefully it all gets better when I'm out and gone.

My tears fall like raindrops on the pavement as I walk away.
I'm leaving my life behind, if you can call it a life at all.
There's no other way out, this is the only way.
When you think home is your only escape,
Home becomes the battle field.

I'm going, I'm leaving and I'm never coming back,
I need some time to get my life back on track.
My family is at war with each other,
And my friends are fighting with one another.
It's tearing me apart and there is not place to run,
There's no love, no joy and I feel like the only one.
